1. Guest Booking Guidelines
Eligibility & Identification
- Reservations are made by responsible parties 25 years of age or older
- Government-issued photo identification may be requested prior to arrival
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in is typically available after 4:00 PM
- Check-out is by 10:00 AM, unless otherwise confirmed
Security Deposit
- A $500 security deposit is collected 10 days before arrival
- When the cottage is left in good condition, the deposit is returned within 14 days after check-out
2. Cancellations And Refunds
Cancellation terms are outlined clearly to help with planning:
- 30+ days before arrival: Full deposit returned, less a $75 processing fee
- 14–29 days before arrival: 50% of deposit returned, less a $75 processing fee
- Within 14 days of arrival: Deposit is retained
Reservations made through third-party platforms follow the policies of those platforms.
3. During Your Stay
Occupancy & Guests
- Each cottage has a defined maximum occupancy
- The guest who makes the reservation stays at the property
- All overnight guests are listed at the time of booking
Quiet Enjoyment
- Quiet hours are observed between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM
- This helps maintain a peaceful environment for neighbors and the community
Parking
- Parking is available in designated areas specific to each cottage
4. Cottage Setting & Environment
Our cottages are located in natural settings. Wildlife or insects common to cottage country may occasionally be present. Every effort is made to keep cottages clean and comfortable for your stay.
5. Amenities & Services
Amenities such as Wi-Fi, hot tubs, saunas, and entertainment systems are provided for enjoyment. While CottageStays works to keep all amenities functioning smoothly, occasional interruptions may occur.
Guests are encouraged to report concerns during their stay so assistance can be provided promptly.
6. Care of the Property
Guests are kindly asked to treat the cottage and its contents with care.
- Any damage noticed upon arrival or during the stay should be reported promptly
- Repairs are coordinated by the owner or property manager
- Damage beyond normal wear may be deducted from the security deposit
Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the guest.
7. Insurance & Personal Items
Guests confirm that they carry appropriate personal and liability insurance. CottageStays and property owners do not provide coverage for personal belongings.
8. Pet Guidelines (For Pet-Friendly Cottages)
For cottages that welcome pets, guests agree to:
- supervise pets at all times
- keep pets leashed where appropriate
- clean up after pets indoors and outdoors
- keep pets off furniture
- ensure pets receive flea and tick prevention prior to arrival
- minimize noise and disturbance
Additional cleaning or damage related to pets may be deducted from the security deposit.
9. Hot Tub Use (Where Available)
Hot tubs are provided for relaxation.
Guests are asked to:
- shower or rinse before use
- keep the hot tub free of soaps, oils, food, and glass items
- use the hot tub carefully and responsibly
Cleaning or repair costs related to misuse may be charged accordingly.
10. Sauna Use (Where Available)
Sauna use varies by individual comfort and health.
Guests acknowledge:
- responsibility for accompanying guests
- supervision of minors by a responsible adult
- awareness of personal health conditions
Guests agree to follow posted safety instructions and maintain cleanliness during use.
11.Pool Use (Where Available)
Pools are provided for relaxation and enjoyment during your stay.
Guests are kindly asked to:

shower before entering the pool when possible

keep the pool area clean and tidy for everyone’s comfort
For safety and maintenance reasons, glass items are discouraged in the pool area. Any additional cleaning or maintenance required due to pool use may be applied accordingly.
Guests acknowledge that pool use is voluntary and accept responsibility for their own safety and that of accompanying guests. CottageStays and property owners appreciate your cooperation in keeping the pool a safe and enjoyable space for all.
